The global COVID-19 pandemic was officially announced over on 11 May 2023. Looking back on the mysterious real estate “flood” in New York City after the lockdown was lifted can tell homeowners new things about the moving industry. This article is an interesting read that is a unique thing in the moving industry that can be a learning experience for the future. In 2020, there was a “mass exodus” of people leaving and moving out of New York City because building owners were forced to cut rent the lowest it has been since 2011. People left because of the restrictions and services not being available to them.
